Last Few Weeks

I know it has been a while since I last blogged. I wish I had more to say and more time to write.



The last 2 weeks have been full of things to do. We had Sports Camp at our Church 2 weeks ago. The 3 older boys played Soccer. They loved it. I helped out with the office work and getting things together for the kids. The younger 2 kids were in Childcare for the 4 days of Camp.



I had allot of fun helping 0ut and getting to hang out with friends and new people I met at Church. Princess is excited to get to do Sports Camp next year. They can go to Sports Camp starting at 4. That is will allot of fun to have the 4 of them playing.



This past week we had VBS (Vacation Bible School). Only Prince "A" is old enough to do the Grade School Activities. He has a blast!! The older 4 are in the Preschool VBS, because I volunteered. The older 3 of the ones in the Preschool VBS got to do activities out of the classroom. But Prince "S" had to stay in his class since he is only 1. They get to go the playgroup across from their Pod and go to take a Buggy Ride. But other than that they don't leave the room.



The preschool kids get to do some things like the big kids. They get to go to Preschool Crafts, Chatter (Story time and teaches them about God), and so many other things. They have a Bible Verse for each day and they just love it all. They love getting to play with other kids and getting to learn more about God.



I helped out with Preschool Crafts this year. It was fun and allot of hard work. But getting to see the kids faces each day and how excited they would get to do the craft that day. Was worth it all.



Next year I would love to push the Buggy around, or be in the Baby Nursery room. If I can't do one of those two things I will work in the craft room again.


I did realize that I still struggle with my feelings being hurt. Just with the way sometimes people talk to me or they react to my ideas. I take so many things personally. I had to call a my Friend "A" this week and have her pray for me and my heart. It got hurt several times lately. Of course not on purpose. But I am such a sensitive person and take things to heart.



The coming weeks will be a lot slower. Prince "A" and I have Day Camp next week. I am helping with that as well. He did this last year and had a blast. This will be my 1st time helping. It is all outdoors. It is going to be hot. I just pray that I don't get sunburned.



We also are doing Library Story Time again this year. The kids get to listen to several story's, do a craft, and have a snack. They are doing allot better and sitting still and listening to the story. I am so glad that our small town does this.



We have been to the Splash Pad a couple times this year so far. I am hoping to go allot more. They really love it. This was Prince "S" first time to play in the water. He wasn't to sure about it at first. But then really loved playing in the water with his brothers!!!

I am also hoping to find more time to work with the kids for school next year. I am not to happy about sending Prince "A" to 2nd grade at the new school he is going too. I have heard way too many bad things (not about the teachers) but the school in general. I also didn't have a good 1st impression. She was very rude and not very welcoming or understanding. They are so things they do at the school I don't agree with. If it weren't for the fact that he is suppost to be getting extra help with Math and Reading he wouldn't be going to the school at all. We are having him go one year and see what we think. If I don't like the school he will be pulled out and Homeschooled. I thought I would only Homeschool until they went to Junior High, but I have heard really bad things about that school too. So if I take them out after 1st Grade, they won't go back until High School. I can't send my Children to any school I don't feel comfortable with. I am trusting God to give me whatever I am going to need to teach them and have them learn what they need to learn.

I guess that is it..... For now.

Again I know that this post probably didn't make allot of sense and probably jumped around allot. But oh well...

Sports Camp....

My 3 older boys have been attending Sports Camp this week. We still have 2 more days to go. They are loving it!! They are in the Soccer Camp. I am hoping the next year or so to get them all in Soccer. But we will see.

Princess got to attend her very 1st Dance Class yesterday. She loved it. The teacher we are using has a Summer Program in the Month of June. We will miss 4 of the 8 classes because of Sports Camp and VBS. But we are hoping for her attend this Fall. We will have to wait and see. I just loved seeing her in her little leotard.... Too cute!!

Summer is going good so far. Getting some schooling done with the kid and having them practice writing in their Journal too. We have some activities for this summer too.

We have Story Time at the Library, some activities with the Church Friends they attend Awana's at, and Daddy is taking the 3 boys to visit Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunties this summer. That will be a nice break, VBS, and finishing Sports Camp.
